Are the flashcards good for really young kids, like elementary school age? Or more for middle school and up?

My 8-year-old loves them! We go through them together and the info is presented in a way that's easy for him to understand. Some might need a little extra explanation from an adult but definitely elementary-friendly.

CultureTags is more of a game, super fun for groups. Urban Intellectuals flashcards are definitely more about detailed learning. If you want to really dig into historical figures, go with UI. For a quick, fun game night, CultureTags is great.

Yeah, they're different beasts. UI is proper educational flashcards. CultureTags is more for social fun. Both good, just depends on what you're trying to do.

Mine took about a week to get to me in NorCal. Ordered on a Monday, got them the next Monday. Might depend on the shipping option you pick though.

Nah, they're pretty good about not repeating. Each volume has different people and events. I have v1-3 and they all felt fresh.

They definitely cover new ground. Some topics might be touched on in a general sense but the specific people/events are usually unique to each volume. Good for building up knowledge.

i think it's usually for orders over $75. at least that's what it was when I bought a few sets last month. haven't seen specific free shipping promo days outside of that.

Yeah, I've only ever seen the 'free shipping over $75' thing. If you're buying a few volumes or a bundle, you usually hit it pretty easily.
